Sensory ObjectPosted: October 30, 2013
We were asked to produce a sensory object which could be aimed specifically for one of the senses of numerous amounts. The group I was working with decided it would be more interesting to incorporate as many of the senses as we could into our object. We decided on a cube as it was easy to handle and is a playful shape. We couldn’t make the cube applicable for senses of taste and smell for obvious reasons but we tried our best at the others.
It was a fun way to work as a group, and as everyone passed their own thought around out ideas were fast to grow. I found it useful working with students from other subjects and seeing their thought process. I now feel more confident putting my ideas across when working in a group, and being able to collectively develop an idea.
